The three best items in my notebook are my safety comics. I chose them because i really enjoyed drawing them. I would geive my notebook a 5, because i really worked hard on it. i put a lot of time in my saftey comics, my lab sheets, and the reflactions. I learned that their is a hardness scale for rocks. It was in between it was both diffcult and easy. Yes my notebook has inproved. It is a great way for me to learn all the material. My goals are to take great notes and focus on the refecltion to help me some more.

1. My best work would be on my Foldable on page ten, my gummy bear growth graph on page eight, and also my qualitative and quantitative observation notes on page six.
2. 5 becuase I think it is really good but sometimes I have of days and my notes are a little messed up.
3. I learned that there are two types of igneos rocks(intrusive & extrusive). The notebook was very easy and it made it easier to put down notes. The note book helped me not lose things like I always do. Yes, I believe my notebook has inproved as the school year goes on because science is my favorite subject, and I've become less shy.
4. My goals are to put more effort into my work and to not write sloppy.

1.Gummybear lab because that was the funnest. leftside reflections because they help me for the test same with the summaries. Also the chart of our test
scores because it makes me try harder.
2.5 ichose 5 because i like how my notebook is organized.it is not the cleanest but i can read it and their is collor.
3.information that was new to me was that gummy bears get bigger in water and that there are different types of rock types in each 3 rock cagegotie.the notebook was easy for me because i used one last year and their easy to undersatnd.the notebook has helped me organize because if I didnt organize I would have a bad grade.my notebook has improved from last year because this notebokk is for a grade.
4.i need to become more detailed about size shape and color.

1. The gummy bear lab because it was the most fun and my data was very neat.
The rock identification station lab because my chart was neatand I had all the data that you needed. I liked the rocks and minerals vocab sheet because it helped me get a good grade on a test.
2.5 because i tried my best on making all my work neat and colorful.
3.I learned more about the rock cycle and about how gummy bears absorb water.Making and using the ISN was easy for me because ive made one in the past grades.it has helped me be better organized and it keeps my papers uncrumbled and neat.I think my note book is the best and it has not improved because it was already great from the begining.
4.I would like to pay attention more and take better notes.

1. My best three would be page 14 because its very organized, page 19 because every thing is filled out, and then page 10 because its vey neatly done

2. I would give my ISN a 6 beacuse its very neat and there are no `missing pages or blank pages

3. I learned that minerals are not rocks they are what make up rocks
The note book was really easy and it help a lot. Yes the note book has help me stay orgaized. Yes the writing is a lot clearer.

1. I would say the first one would be the scientific method paper because, it tells me what the scientific method is and the order of it. next would be the Hardness Leb because, it makes a lot of sence and explains a lot. The last one would be the pictures we drew of the saftey labs it was fun and helpfull drawing those because now I now all the saftey procedures.
2.I would say a 4 because im missing two pages.
3.I learned about all the diffrent rocks and how they formed.The notebook is easy because it is super easy to undersatnd. The notebook has helped me organize my materials because its all in learning order and everything is there. My notebook has improved because almost every wekk somethinh new is there.
4.I think the class is doing fine and there is no need to improve.

1. i chose the grade graph because it shows my terrific grades in science, this reflects my skills as a student because it just shows how smart and bright i really am.I also picked the mineral foldable beacause it shows that i can take good notes and my pictures are very explainable. Finally i picked the qualitative and quantitative obsevation labs,because it shows that im a good observer.

2. i believe my notebook deserves a 6 because i have everything in it tabs, titles, and pagenumberrs. It might not be the prettiest isn but its very legible and easily understood.

3. i learned that there was more than just three types of rocks. i think it was in between because i had every thing down easy but keeping it organized was difficult. yes it has helped me organize my material because now im more organized all around and it helps me now where everything is located. i think my notebook has stayed the same throughout the year because my notbook is pretty balanced between its difficult and its easy.

4.my goals are that i chit chat less and learn more.

1. I liked the gummy bear lab. it was fun and the gummy bears grew huge.I think it was the best
2. The safety sketches were also fun. i relly like drawing so i chose that.
3. The rock lab i like that expessialy when we rotated around the tables. that was really fun.
I would rate my notebook a 5 because its fun to do the labs. I cant wait to do more also.
I learned a lot on rocks how to use a triple beam balanceand a lot of that stuff.
The notebook wasn't hard its pretty easy
my notebook has improved and it helps me alot.

1. the hardness lab because it was fun to test if your finger nail could scratch a type of rock or not. 2. the mineral id chart because we were testing all types of rocks and we got to put acid on a rock. 3.when we did the gummy bear lab because we got to see if the gummy bear would grow or shrink and we had to measure the weight

2.i think it would be a five because i got all my work done in the notebook,i glued everything in the right page

1. The lab saftey prcedure sketches was one of my best work because there is alot of color and I clearly described what it was saying in the picture. Another thing i did good on was the gummy bear lab because it was something I wanted to do so I put alot of effort into it. Another one was theRocks packet, because I didn't get anything wrong.
2. 6 because there is alot of color and i put alot of effort into it and i have everything completed and glued in that i need to.
3. New information was learning about the diffrent types of rocks, Igneous, Metomorphic, and Sedimentary. The notbook was easy because all we had to do really was glue things in and draw a few things. Yes the notbook has helped me organize all of the material becauase if i need to look somethig up I just look in my table of contents go to that page and there it is, and i dont lose anything because it is all glued into my notebook. Yes my notbook has improved because I am putting alot more effort into it to make sure it stays organized.
4. My goals are to get alot better grades on my tests, meaning i need to study more for the tests.

1. The mineral ID chart, lab safety cartoon sketches, and the gummi bear lab because the work is neat and i chose them because they were fun to do.

2. I would give my notebook a 5 out of 6 because most of it is neat, and everything is glued in where it should be, and everything is complete.

3. Some info. that was new to me was that more than one mineral make up a rock and i also learned how to make qualitative and quantitative observations. The notebook was easy for me because our table worked together on somethings. The notebook has helped me organize the material so i know where to find everything. My notebook has stayed the same.

4. I could study my notebook more for improvement in this class.

1. The mineral lab id chart, the sedimentary rock lab, and the gummy bear graphs were some of my best work. They were my best work because im good at graphs and they were easier than some of the others.
2. 5becuase some of my handwriting isnt the best but good. I didnt cut and glue the best. It is very organized compared to others.
3. I learned all about rock. I never really anthing about rocks till this year. I also learned about qualitavive and quantitaive obeservations. It did help me organize the matherial by making it easier to understand and find. I think my notebook hasnt changed. I think it stayed the same.
4. I would like to get better grades and learn more about science and remeber it.

1.)Some of my best work includes the lab saftey cartoons on pages 4 and 5. It helps me remember our lab safety rules, the quantitative/qualitative lab (pg. 6), and the mineral classification lab (pg. 14)

2.)I'd rate my notebook a six for content but a five for neatness. Some of the lab sheets are hard to read since there is so much information.

3.)I have learned alot more about rocks that I didn't know before, and also about the rock cycle. The notebook was fairly easy for me, there wasn't THAT much to put in and it made things easier. My notebook has helped me organize my material, it is so much easier than putiing it all in my folder and losing it.

4.)My goals are to keep the neatness up, and to maybe be even neater when ever we have labs.

Also, when I looked through my ISN I realized that we havn't done any summarizing or reflecting on the left side. All of our lab sheets are on that side. I enjoy reflecting-sometimes. maybe if we could reflect once in awhile...but not ALL the time...because then it gets boring.

I think that the one of the ones I did a good job at was the lab saftey drawings. I picked it because i tried my best while doing it.

The second one I picked is the gummy bear graphs. I picked them because the look nice and neat.

The third one I picked was the rock identification lab. I picked it because i filled all of it out and I made sure that it was right.

I would give myself a 5 in my notebook because it isn't my best work but it is still pretty good.

I learned more about the different kinds of rocks and in the begging of the year i didn't know anything about metamorphic,ingeous,or sedimentary.

It was easy because I always knew what I was suppose to be doing.

Yes it has because if i just had a folder and left all my work in there I would never be able to find anything.

Yes i think it has because now I know how it is suppose to look and what you except it to look like.

I think I only have one goal and thats to pay more attetion to what your saying.

1.Lab safty cartoons because it shows what not to do and i cant draw that well but i did good.
The gummy bear lab because i had the right hypothosis and i was constantly mutitasing with the net book and my notebook.
Quanttive and qualitative lab i had don lots of observations on both.
2. 6 because i have all the notes im up to date with all things and it organized
3.i learned the Quant. and Qualit., different minnerals, and lots more
It was easy for me because i have it very organised
Yes it has helped me prganise my labs and notes
yes i have been doing better because i have materials so i can glue when i need to or cut when i need to.
4. i think that we should be able to get the info easily and so we dont need to study very hard

#1: The Lab Safety Cartoons, I chose this item because I did a really good job on them and took my time to color them in. This reflects my skills as a student by showing that I can take my time and make my work good and presentable.

#2: The Scientific Method foldable, I chose this one because it was done very neat and there's a picture for every one that I did showing someone doing the step that is on the tab.

#3: The Mineral ID Chart, I chose this final one because I answered all the questions for every little section and I did it really neatly as I worked.

I'd give my notebook a rating of 4 because it's not the neatest. Also I didn't really ever keep up with my table of contents.

I learned that when an igneous forms inside the earth that it is called an intrusive igneous rock, and that when it forms outside the earth it is called extrusive. The notebook was easy for me because we had to do the same thing last year in Mrs. Russells class. The notebook has helped me organize the materials because if there is something that I need I can just flip right to it when I need it. My notebook hasn't really improved that much at all because we did this last year and I got used to it so it hadn't really improved much at all. I want to listen more and pick a group of people that I will be able to get a good grade with and not just all my friends and goof off all day.

#1: 3 items that i chose were ...our mineral lad, gummy bear lab, and our quanataive and qualitative observations. i chose those 3 because i felt that i understood them very well and felt that i scored very high on the test over them.

#2: i would choose a 6 for my rating because i keeep my ISN organised with my labs and follow along with your directions on where they go and how they are suppost to be done.

#3: *i learned how igneous, sedimentary, nad metamorphic rock were formed.
*it was easy because i listen to how you told us to put things in and where they go, if i didnt listen it would probably have been difficult because i wouldnt have known where anyhting went or how they were suppost ot go in.
*yes the ISN has helped me organize my materials because now i know where to flip to when we are talking about rock, minerals, or doing warm ups.
*yes my ISN has improveed because it is now more organized and easier to find things.

#4: my improvements in science are to get better grades on my test because i have been getting B's and C's on all my tests and i would like to improve them to A's.

Question 1:
1. I chose the qualitative and quantitative observation page. I measureed the weight of all kinds of objects using a triple beam balance and I described the objects by how they look or feel.
2. I chose the Rock Identification Station Lab page because I said if certain rocks were light or dark colored, coarse of fine grained, intrusive or extrusive, if its porphyritic, if it floats in water, and the mass of the rock.
3.I would also choose the vocabulary foldable on page 12 because it told me about all the vocabulary words, such as streak, fracture, cleavage, ore, and hardness.
Question 2:
For my notebook, I would choose a rating of 5. Everything is glued in on the right pages, I have tabs on the right pages, and my work is neat, but some of my pages are beginning to rip out of my notebook.
Question 3:
I have learned about all different kinds of rocks. I never knew about Moh's Scale of Hardness, and now I do. My notebook has been easy for me. I always know what page to glue worksheets on, and I have never had a problem with anything. My notebook has helped me organize my material. If all my worksheets were in a folder, then something could fall out and get lost, but in my ISN, nothing gets lost. My notebook has improved because now I know where to look for all my worksheets and notes.
Question 4:
My goals for improvement are to understand worksheets better. When I am on the test, I have to think back to worksheets and notes instead of knowing the question right away.

1.I would choose the rocks worksheet glued in on page 19 because i can easily understand all the information on all the different types of rocks, then i would choose the grade tracker graph because it shows me how good or bad i am doing on learning and how i show i know what has been taught to me and it keeps me motivated to do better, and last i would choose the mineral foldable because i drew pictures and i wrote definitions i would understand to help me out on the quiz,and these are my best work becasue they are clear and they are easy for me to understand in my own way and it makes it easier to do better on the tests, and these assignments reflect my skills as a student by showing that i can change information to what i can understand it better and still knowing what i was taught.
2.I would give it a five because i can read it and it is clear but again it isn't perfect and it isn't sloppy but it is clear enough and shows the points of the piece and the notes are usually exact.
3. 1. the way the minerals all form and how they always change were new to me. 2. Easy because i don't mind writing and pasteing notes in my journal plus this first month it is easier then last year becasue i don't have to write every single thing i can just get to the points and glue some things in to help me out 4.yes because if i need to relook what i had learned that day i can just look back in my notebook and find easily what i need to look over again. 4. yes because i set upp my notebook pretty neat because i like to make sure i really know something before i am tested on it.
4. i will try to make my notebook even more neat and pay more attention in class when your teaching. :)

1. THE BEST PAGES IN MY ISN:
*Page 19, the Rocks packet, was my best work because it showed how I was organized and thoroughly understood the ideas of all kinds of rocks.
*Page 10, the scientific method vocabulary foldable, shows how I can understand the definitions of the scientific method. It reflects on how I can show my knowledge into a foldable thst involves the Scientific Method.
*Page 2, Lab Safety Questions, because they show that I know how and how not to act in the lab, and what is safe and not safe in the lab.

2. RATING MY ISN:
I would rate my ISN a 5.85-out of-6:
I rated my ISN this because I have one (mostly) blank page. I also could have done better with my handwriting, though at the time I did'nt think of it. Other than that I think my ISN was completed in an organized manner and was done well.

3. QUESTION AND ANSWER:
I learned many new things so far this year and I plan to lean many more. I have already learned many things about rocks and minerals that I had no clue about before I came to 7th grade, such as, foliated, and non-floiated, extrusive and intrusive, etc.
This notebook was pretty easy but difficult at times.
The ISN has definitly help me organize my work because I could organize my work by pasting my packets, foldables,etc.
I want to improve my handwriting, teamwork, and work ethic.

1.The gummy bear lab because it was easy, fun, and we got to eat gummy bears.
The worksheets we did because they helped me on the tests.

2. 4-5 I have some sloppy work but other then that I think I did pretty well.
3. I learned that gummy bears absorb water and I learned about the rock cycle. To make the notebook was pretty easy because I made one in science last year. It is alot easier having a notebook to put it in instead of just shoving it into my backpack and it gets all crumbled up. I think my notebook has been pretty good the whole year.

1.Page 4-5, cartoon lab safety sketches. I worked hard on my sketches, added color, and got a 20/20 on the assignment.
Page 9, Gummy Bear lab. I took my time and put quality answers, listened, and understood the material during the lab.
Page 12, Mineral Vocab. I took great notes and got 100% during the vocabulary portion of the test. I kept my work neat and studied it for the test.
2. I give my notebook a 6. I have all my work completed and have quality work. It is neat and oranized. I listen and take notes. My test scores show that my notebook is up to date and has the material needed.I take my time on my work and get it done. I have As and Bs on the worksheets inside.
3. I had very little information on rocks and minerals.I learned the vocabulary words that are tests for rocks, such as, hardness- the rock's resistance to being scratched. I found the notebook easy for me because I did my work in class and I understood the work we did. The notebook has helped me organize; if I didn't have it, I would lose things. I think my notebook has improved from when we started. I take better notes and spend more time on assignments for the ISN.
4. My goal would be to get my ISN caught up when I am absent. I want to be prepared for the class and not have to worry about the assignments.

1. The three items that represent my best work are, The Scientific Method foldable, the Safty Lab Questions, and the Rocks:The Vocab Packet.I chose these three items to represent my best work because I took my time on all of them, paid really good attention in calss, used my best handwrighting, and really understood what was being tought to me. These assignments show that I am a responsible student, I actually listen in class, and that I understand everything that I learn.

2. The overall rating that I would give my notebook is a six. I think it is a six because, my notebook is very organized, I took my time on everything, I used my best hanwrighting, and I have a complete and updated nootbook.

3. Some new information that I learned that was new to me was that there is three different types of rocks. I had no idea that each of these rocks have and display their own charactericts. It was something new.
The nootbook, for me, is easy because I am good at keeping up with things and being organized.
The notebook has helped me a lot with organizing my matieral. Everything is nice and organized and easy to find. I love the way it has helped me.
My notebook has improved a lot. Now it easier to keep up with and everything is soo much neater.

4.My goals for improvement in this class are:

1.The scientific method foldable, i chose this foldable because i was on of my first and its neat,why this was my best work because i didnt rush and i took my time, this says that i am a good student because i get things done the time i need to.2.The mineral vocb.practice becuase i got a 16/19 and i work hard on it,it was my best work because it was neat and i felt very confenite i got a good grade,it says i am a good sudent becasue i worked hard and tryed my best.3.The rocks packet we did becuase i got most of them right and it helped me with my test because it was neat, it was my best work becuase it was helpful, i says i am a great student because i got it done and it looks like it had hard work put in to it.

2.I would give my notebook a grading of a 5 beacause i think it is neat but there are some that arent the neatest.I also and give it this rateing because it all comeplete and well organized.

3.Information that was new to me was igneous,sedimentry,and metamorphic rocks.The notebook was in the middle there are times when you dont want anything to do with the notebook and then there are times when you want to do something with it.I think my notebook has organized the materal becaus ei can get unorganized very easy and it has helped me. i think my notebook has improved over time with my neatness and caring so i would say yes.

1. Gummy Bear Lab, scientific method, and the mineral lab. I think they were my best work because I wrote down all the questions.

2. I would rate that a 5 because there were a couple parts in the beginning of the notebook that I forgot to do. But otherwise, I did a lot of the stuff Ms. J wanted us to do.

3. The information I learned that was new was the gummy bear lab. The notebook was easy for me to do because I got alot of the questions done fast and the notes to study was easy. Yes, the notebook helped me organize the material because I can glue the notes into the ISN. My notebook has improved because I am doing my work that Ms. J wanted us to do and that's how I'm improving.

1. A) i liked the lab saftey sketches on pages 4 and 5 because they are effictivley colored and organized. They show that I can take serious situations and make them easy to understand. B)My second favorite page was page 8 on the gummy bear graphs. the graphs are neat and accurate. They are a good display ofdata. C) Finally is the Scientific Method foldable. I used good colors and my pictures made the steps easy to remeber.

2.I would give my notebook a 5 or 6. I think that my ISN is organized and everything is on the right page . My work is neat and easy to read.

3.A) I thought that learning about the types of rocks was very helpful. Now I can better understand how each one forms and where. B) The ISN wad very helpful. It kept me on track and all of my things were in one place.C)Yes Ithink that the notebook was helpful and kept me organized because I never lost any thing becauce my papers were easy to keep track of. 1. #1 my best notes were on science saftey...the experiment may not go as planned but at least its safe for me...
#2 when learning about rocks i took the best notes i could with facts and all...
#3 i always keep my table of contents updated....
2. 5 considering my hand writing...(not that i cant read it just other people) i would say a 5.
3. their are lots of fish i didnt know about...
the notebook is helping me organize my notes so much better then before
the notebook is not hard for me at all...
unlike last year the notes are even more neat

1. A) i liked the lab saftey sketches on pages 4 and 5 because they are effictivley colored and organized. They show that I can take serious situations and make them easy to understand. B)My second favorite page was page 8 on the gummy bear graphs. the graphs are neat and accurate. They are a good display ofdata. C) Finally is the Scientific Method foldable. I used good colors and my pictures made the steps easy to remeber.

1.)
I think my best work in my ISN would have to be the lab saftey rules, because I worked hard to represent the lsafey rules on my pages. Also, I thoguht I did my Mineral ID chart pretty well, because I worked hard in my lab and payed attention to the changes. My scientific method foldable was great, because it helped me on the test.

2.) I give my ISN notebook a rating of 5 because it is sorta messy right now, and my lab pages are not glued into it.

3.)I learned the diffrent types of rocks, and how they formed. The notebook is very easy for me, especially when Im trying to go back and review all of the notes in it. The notebook has sort of helped me organize my materials, it's just that it looks sloppy. I would like to get better test scores, because I havent done too well on the last two tests. I would like to study more, and start reviwing my ISN from this point forward.

I loved the gummy bear lab because it was challenging and it was fun watching the gummy bears increase in size. On a scale from one to six i think mine would have to be a six because i always add extra information not needed and plus my mom always pushes me to go over my own limits. I think learning about rocks was very helpful because now i can classify the rocks that are anywhere I go. I promise I will try harder not to talk to anyone while Mrs. J is talking.....

1. The first item is the lab safety sketches on pages 4 and 5 becaause they were a lot of fun and they helped teach me the rules of the lab. The second item is the hardness lab on page 17 because I got to do a lot of work on this lab and I learned how hard the minerals were. The last item is the scintific method foldable because i learned all of the different steps of the scientific method and it took me a lot of time to complete because i wrote all of the definitions down correctly.
2. I would give my notebook a 5 or a 6 because it is very well detailed in the notes and it is organized very well.
3. I have learned a lot more about the rock cycle. The notebook is pretty easy because we are given the notes to glue in and the table of contents makes everything easier to find. The notebook has helped me organize a lot of things like where the mineral stuff and the rock stuff. My notebook hasnt really improved because it has been really neat and organized from the beginning.

1.i would probubly chose Moh's hardness scale because its fun to learn about the rocks on it like learning about how hard they are.

2.i would chose 5 because i didnt get an A+ on every test but i didnt get to bad of a grade.

3.i learned that talc is the softest mineral on moh's hardness scale, teh scale from easy - hard was probubly in the middle of the scale because it wasnt all a pease of cake likei sometimes get the meta morph from the sedimentry mixed up sometimes, my notebook has improved couse it is now alot neater

1. the bast work in my isn is on page 4 and 5. its my lab saftey sketches. the second one is my mineral notes sheet on page 15. i have mad highliting powers. another one is my very first warm up in my notebook on page 82. i am proud of myself.

2. i think that my overall grade in my isn should be a 6 because i put max effort into all of my work i put in there. i might have got some pages mixed up at the end but i still deserve a 6.

3. i learned that taking good notes will help you review for tests and quizes, the isn was easy for me because i rather take notes then a worksheet, the isn has helped me orginize my notes and lab sheets by having them in order and improving the notes in them.

(1.) The three things that represent my best work would be my mineral vocabulary foldable on page 12, my gummy bear graphs on page 8, and the lab safety cartoon sketches on pages 4 and 5. These are my best work because I put alot of effort into them. These items reflect that I am very organized , and can draw resonably well.

(2.) I would have to say that the overall rating of my notebook would be in the 5 or 6 range. I chose this rating because I took detailed notes. I hilighted where needed. Also,I don't have any blank pages that were supposed to be filled in.

(3.) I have learned alot of new things in science class. I now know that the three main rocks are metamorphic,ingeous,or sedimentary; thatgummybears grow when put in water, and how to use the triple beam balance (we used electronic ones last year).

The notebook was easy for me to do, I love prodjects like that. Science is also my favorite subject.

My notebook has helped me be more organized, and I like to be organized. It has helped me alot to study, But sometimes difficult to find the page with the right information.

From last year, you could say my notebook hasn't improved alot. This isn't bad, I just kept mine really organized last year.

(4.) My goals to improve in this class is studying. I really don't like to study. This year, I hope this can be different.

1. Gummy bear lab because it was fun and i did a good job. I think.The sketches were fun but i epicly failed at them sooo yea. The mineral testing was fun because we got to move tables and look at interesting facts about nonliving things.
2. I think i have a 5 because i have a bunch of pages filled with info and completed everything i needed to. I can study with it too because i have so much info.
3. I learned all kinds of new facts about rocks. The notebook really wasnt that hard to me. I think it helped me study and kept me organized because its all in our isn. My notebook always improves because we do all kinds of things in it. YEAA
4. To stay cought up and to pay attention and keep my grades up. So pretty much to stay SMART!!

1.The frist item in my ismn is the Gummy Bear lab beacause it was cool that we got to eat the gummy bears, plus it was easy to take notes. The sencond lab is the Rock Fodable beacause it was something easy and quick to help me study for my test. the third one was testing the rock because tht was cool to learn how to do diffrent tests on the rocks
2. I think my isn gets a 6 rating because it is well organised and easy to understand.
3. my notebook helped me study for test and has taught me how to write better notess in diffret classes so i can have an easier time learning.

1. My 3 best things in my ISN are my foldables because they are very organized, my Lab Safety Sketches because they are very colorful, and my test graph because it has all of my test grades.
2. I would give my ISN a 5 because it is kind of sloppy in some pages.
3. I would get mixed up with Igneous rocks and metamorphic rocks last year, but since we did the rock cycle raps it helped me. My notebook was easy to me because when it wasn't sloppy it gave me all the information I needed. The notebook helped me when we put the information sheets in it and highlighted some of the important stuff. I think my notebook has gotten less organized because things were just randomly glued in there because of me.
4. My goals for improving this class is to not focus so much on my surrounding, but to focus on what we are working on. I will also study more.

1.I like my gummy bear lab worksheet, my quantitative and qualitative observation item activity and my mineral lab worksheet because I think I did a good job on them and I completed them fully. I think this reflects my skills as a hard worker. 2. I rate my notebook a 5 because I have notes and everything glued into my notebook. I wouldn't give this a 6 because I haven't quite completed a few answers on a few worksheets because I didn't understand them/ran out of time. 3. I learned the Moh's Hardness Scale and I didn't know about that before Ms. J taught it to us. The notebook wasn't difficult, but it wasn't a piece of cake because some worksheets weren't as easy as other ones. The notebook has definitely helped me organize the work because I can't always remember it myself so I could flip in my notebook to something if I forgot it. My notebook has improved because last time I was missing a couple pages that I needed and now I have everything that I've learned for the whole first quarter. 4. My goals for improvement in this class are to make sure I pay well attention in class and study my notes because lately I've been getting B's or sometimes even C's on the tests.

1. I believe that on all of these, (1A, 1B, and 1C), that I did very well on them and had complete and full awnsers,
1A. My Gummy Bear Lab
2B. My Lab Safety Sketches
3C. And my lab safety packet on Pg. 18
2. I give my notebook a 4 because I did do very well in my opinion but it is a bit messy from quickly doing things last minute in class.
3A. I learned that there are 2 types of metamorphic rock!
3B. The notebook was not nesessarely the easiest thing in the world yet it wasn't hard either.
3C. I do not really believe this helped organize me I was acctually messier in the journal then my used to glue some tiny things in a journal and keep others in my folder routine.
4. My goals for this class are to keep my grade an A, because my science grade dropped to a C last year and I bumped it up to a B last minute, so I really want to improve.

1. 1.I think my Lab Safety Cartoons were very good because I worked hard on it.I drew very nice people and colored them amazingly.I think it reflects my skills of being a pretty good drawer.2.I think I also did good on my gummy bear observation notes.I graphed the data very well and neatly.I think this reflects my hard work.3.I also think I did good on my rock vocab notes.It helped me greatly on the multiple tests we had.It reflects that I am deticated.

2. I rate my notebook at least a 4 maybe even a five.Sometimes I got lazy and wrote sloppy and I couldn't read my writing.Then I also didn't cut my papers very neatly,but overall I think I did good.

3. The new info I learned was pretty much everything about rocks.
I think the notebook was easy because she hardly made us write down things and the things we had to do were simple.
Yes it has because otherwise my papers would just go in my bag and get ripped and stuff.
I think my notebook has improved because I work hard to make it neat now.

1. I one of the things that my best work is probably my authors page,it took me like FIVE minutes to uct out those pictures. My second is my scientific method notebook and my mineral notebook because it took me like an hour to finsih both of those.

2. I would give my notebook a 6. I keep it really neat and clean. I also decorate it with AMAZING doodles.

3. Pretty much everything about minerals was new to me. I personally think doing the notebook is easy since it's nothing new. I'm pretty neat when it comees to notes so I'm just a neat person, out notebooks don't male a difference.

it was difficult because my writing is sloppy so its hard for me to read it sometimes.
it has not really helped me because it is sometimes hard to find the right page because my notebook is unorginized.

The three best thing in my ISN are My gummy bear lab notes,my safty lab skecthes,and finally my rock notes(all of them).Ithink they are really good no0ters and i worked hard on maintaing my grade on the rock notes.

I think my overall grading would be a 6.Its very neat and i have everything up to date and i have alot of good notes.

I learned that rocks can be very cool looking and still come from the bottom of the earth or out side a valconeo.

The notebook was easy for me because i can look back at some of the things i learned in the begining of the year.This year the notebook was very orginazied by the help of haveing certin tabes and haveing the pages numbered.MY goal for improvement is to make it the best of the best.ive been getting good grades and i want to keep it that way.

my first paper would be the vocabulay practice page for minerals.I chose that because it shows how much i now about minerals and if i understand them or not. the next thing i chose is mohs hardness scale because it is good notes and if i didn't now them it would be hard for me to study and memerize them. the last thing i chose is my graph with my test scores on them. it shows me if i am doing good or if i need to reteak or not.
for the rating of my notebook is a 5 and a half. id did a 5 and a half because i have everything glues in and nothing is hanging out. also is that i listen to the teacher and glue in everything she asks to glue in and nothing else.

the information that was new to me was that the minerals and rocks. i did not now about luster and all that stuff. also i did not now about the rock cycle and metamorphic and sedimentary.

the notebook was easy and it because ms j told us where everything went and gave us time to glue it in.

the note book has help me organize my material because instead of looking in my folder every day i can just take out my isn and find the notes in there and we usually use our isn everyday.

my notebook has improved because it used to be a mess but i picked it up and now it is good.
my goals are to keep my stuff in good shape and don't loose any papers and now were everything in my notebook is.

1.Mass vs.Time/Length vs.Time graph: Because I made it really neat and graphed it correctly.
2.Scientific Method Foldable:Because I wrote lots of information and it looks neat.

I would give myself like a 4 1/2 because I entered all the information correctly. It's not very neat though and i hate when my work is not neat. which seems to be all the time.
3. Pretty much all of the information wasnew to me, so I learned more about rocks than i wanted to.

The notebook was sort of easy for me, but it got messy when I had to glue the worksheets in.

The notebook hasn't done anything to improve the organization.

1. My best three would probably be my mineral ID chart, my scientific method foldable, and my lab safety cartoons. These are my best because they look the nicest in my ISN. They reflect that I like to take pride in my work.
2. My notebook is probably a 5 because it is really neat, yet I have some pages of work that I glued in backwards. I have everything I need to in my notebook, but some stuff I forgot to fill out.
3. I learned more about the 3 types of rocks and how they are formed. The notebook was pretty easy for me, considering all we had to do was glue stuff in. 3. The information that I learned that was new to me was that The Rock Cyle has no beginning or end and that any rock can change to a different one. I also did not know that you couldn't wear contacts while doing lab.
The notebook was pretty easy for me because all you basicly had to do was glue things in.
Yes the notebook has helped me organize material because it was helpful having all the notes on paper for you.
I think it has improved because its less messy every page it gets.

1. My best work would be my gummy bear lab,my foldable,and my notes.
2. I think my over all grade is 5 or a 4 because it not messy at all and it is organized and I have all of my notes done.
3. Yes my note book has improved alot I have alot more infromation then in the begging of school. All about the rocks cycle and how the rock's work and everything.The notebook was both it was easy and hard cuz when you say make it make sence to you I didnt know what to do.
4. Mine is to make more scence with my note takeing.:]

1. i think i did the best on the lab safety cartoon sketches, rock identification station lab, and the matamorphic post lab questions, i think i did the best these because they were the easiest to do and i did the best at them and it shows that i'm not the best at science
2. 5, because i did almost everything in the notebook and on worksheets
3a. i learned that there were different types of rocks and that the all have different hardness
3b. the notebook is easy because it's glue worksheet then note taking
3c. no, because i would just put it in a folder so it's kinda the same
3d. yes, because i'm getting more notes and more worksheets so it's increasing
4. i think i could study for tests more often so i won't have to retake and do a pcaket or tutoring and get a good grade the first time
